Cafe Manager

We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Manager to work closely alongside the owner in leading our cafe and growing school lunch program. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains exceptionally high standards and knows how to run smooth, profitable operations. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of day-to-day operations, staff performance, customer service, stock control and business profitability while helping take the business to the next level.

Oversee daily operations of the cafe, kitchen, bar and school lunch program Work closely with the owner to improve systems, service standards and overall business performance Lead and manage staff with strong leadership, accountability and professionalism

Ensure all staff maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and efficiency Build a positive but disciplined workplace culture Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively

Ensure smooth communication between kitchen, front of house and management Maintain operational budgets and ensure the business remains profitable each month Monitor food costs, wastage, labour costs and overall operational efficiency

Identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce unnecessary expenses Help drive business growth, customer satisfaction and repeat business Assist with reporting, forecasting and operational planning
