BUYER/PURCHASING SENIOR OFFICER

About the role Our company move all supply chain to Batam factor and we are seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Senior Officer to join PT. SP Manufacturing in Batam, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to lead and manage purchasing operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, vendor management, and inventory control to ensure efficient supply chain operations that support our manufacturing objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing costs, maintaining quality standards, and building strong supplier relationships that drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and support manufacturing requirements Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring to ensure consistent quality and reliability of materials and services

Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve competitive pricing whilst maintaining quality and delivery standards Prepare and analyze purchase requisitions, ensuring accurate specifications and timely processing Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams to prevent stock outs and reduce excess inventory

Maintain detailed purchasing records, documentation and reports for audit and compliance purposes Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, process improvements and vendor consolidation Oversee junior purchasing staff and provide guidance on procurement best practices

Liaise with internal stakeholders including production, quality assurance and finance departments to ensure procurement aligns with business needs Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical sourcing standards What we're looking
