Business Development

With the following responsibilities : · Probes and identifies customer needs and provide solutions. · Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.

· Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts. · Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish business contact with potential customers. · Analyses competitive and industry trends in global freight.

· The ability to meet with customers off-site on a regular basis. · Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment. · Sense of urgency for goal achievement.

Ideally the candidate should posses the following qualities : · Profesional experience at least 2 years in the freight forwarding business and knowledge of the market. · Sales experience in the forwarding and logistics industry, ideally in global freight.

· Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns. · Service and customer oriented. · Strong communication skills.
