About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting professional to join PT. JAYAINDO TIGA EXPRES in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our organisation. As an Accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the company. This role is fundamental to our operations and directly contributes to the company's financial health and regulatory compliance. What you'll be doing Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports Reviewing invoices, expense reports and supporting documentation for accuracy and authorisation Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing and collection follow-ups Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures Supporting internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and files Communicating with other departments regarding financial matters and resolving queries
