Perusahaan manufaktur yang dinamis ini mencari seorang Toolmaker untuk bergabung dalam lingkungan kerja yang mengutamakan presisi. Peran ini bertanggung jawab dalam merancang dan membuat alat-alat presisi, dies, jigs, dan fixtures sesuai dengan spesifikasi teknis dan cetak biru (blueprint) yang ditentukan. Sebagai Toolmaker, Anda akan mengoperasikan dan memelihara berbagai mesin perkakas seperti mesin bubut, milling, gerinda, dan peralatan pengeboran. Anda juga akan melakukan inspeksi kualitas, pemecahan masalah pada kegagalan alat, serta berkolaborasi dengan tim produksi untuk mengoptimalkan desain alat dan meningkatkan proses manufaktur. Posisi ini menuntut pemahaman mendalam tentang prinsip teknik mesin, metrologi, serta komitmen tinggi terhadap standar keselamatan kerja.
Tanggung jawab: Design and fabricate precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to technical specifications and blueprints; Operate and maintain various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drilling equipment; Inspect and test completed tools to ensure they meet required quality standards and dimensional tolerances; Troubleshoot tool failures and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment; Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately; Collaborate with production teams to optimise tool design and improve manufacturing processes; Maintain detailed records of tool production, maintenance activities, and equipment performance; Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all work activities; Continuously improve tool designs and manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity.
Kualifikasi: Proven experience as a Toolmaker or similar precision manufacturing role, typically 3-5+ years in the field; Advanced proficiency in operating CNC and conventional machine tools with high precision capabilities; Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, tolerances, and metrology; Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD blueprints; Excellent hand-tool skills and familiarity with precision measurement instruments; Knowledge of materials science, including metals and their properties; Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and precision work; Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; Physical capability to perform manual labour and stand for extended periods; Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to quality standards; Relevant technical certifications or vocational qualifications in toolmaking or machining are advantageous.
