About the role We are seeking a Supervisor Finance, Accounting & Tax to join our finance department on a contract basis , based in Surabaya, Jawa Timur . This is a key supervisory position that will play a vital role in overseeing the financial, accounting, and tax operations of PT WELL KARGO INDONESIA. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable tax regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in financial management whilst contributing to the success of a progressive organisation.

Key responsibilities Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting and finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions and records Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Manage tax compliance obligations, including the calculation, filing and payment of corporate taxes, VAT, payroll taxes and other statutory requirements Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the organisation Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented and supported

Prepare financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making and strategic planning Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and resolution of outstanding items

Maintain and secure all financial records and ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements Support the development and training of junior accounting staff, providing guidance and mentoring to enhance team capabilities Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation within the finance function
