About us PT. VVF INDONESIA is an oleochemicals industry headquartered in Mumbai, India and present in Indonesia, specifically in the Medan Industrial Area (KIM) 2, Deli Serdang. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Supervisor Finance- Accounting & Taxation. About the role We are seeking a Supervisor Finance & Account to join PT. VVF Indonesia with our finance team on a contract basis , based in KIM 2 Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara . This supervisory role plays a crucial part in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions of the organitation. You will be responsible for managing a team of accounting staff, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and providing strategic financial reporting to support informed business decision-making. This position is integral to maintaining our company's financial health and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities Supervising and managing the daily activities of the accounting and finance team, ensuring all team members meet performance targets and deadlines Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies

Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment authorization, and collection activities Reconciling general ledger accounts and investigating discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records Coordinating month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals, deferrals, and journal entries

Preparing financial reports and analyses for management review and decision-making purposes Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations, tax requirements, and internal control procedures Training and developing finance team members, providing coaching and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth

Collaborating with other departments to resolve financial queries and provide timely support Maintaining organised financial documentation and ensuring proper record retention What we're looking for
