We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Staff member to join our team in the palm oil industry in Palembang. This role is perfect for an individual who combines traditional accounting expertise with a modern approach, utilizing digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance work accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Staff will be responsible for recording transactions, performing reconciliations, and analyzing financial data to support management decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Tanggung jawab: Record, examine, and verify financial transactions according to accounting standards and company procedures; Perform account, cash/bank, payable, and receivable reconciliations; Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, cost reports, and management support reports; Analyze operational and production costs, including identifying variances and data discrepancies; Monitor and reconcile inventory, specifically raw materials, spare parts, and factory operational needs; Process and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and AI tools to improve efficiency; Ensure all transaction documents are well-stored and audit-ready.
Kualifikasi: Minimum S1 degree in Accounting; Strong understanding of accounting basics, journals, balance sheets, profit/loss, and cash flow; Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially PivotTable, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF, and handling large datasets; Familiar with using AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar for data analysis and reporting; Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, integrity, and responsibility for data accuracy; Capable of working with targets, deadlines, and cross-departmental coordination; Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance; Experience in manufacturing, palm oil industry, or production-based companies; Understand production cost calculation, inventory, stock opname, and stock reconciliation; Experience using accounting software or ERP; Capable of analyzing budget variances and cost realization.
