Jakarta Multicultural School is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Needs Education Teacher to support the learning and development of students with diverse educational needs. Tanggung jawab: Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student; Provide engaging, differentiated instruction across academic, social, and life-skills domains; Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and self-advocacy; Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, school counselors, and shadow teachers to support students’ holistic development; Use appropriate teaching methods, resources, and assistive technologies to facilitate effective learning; Monitor, document, and communicate students’ progress and development on a regular basis; Support school-wide initiatives, events, and activities related to inclusion and student well-being.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; Prior experience teaching or supporting students with special educational needs is highly desirable; Strong understanding of learning differences, developmental challenges, and inclusive teaching strategies; Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to student-centered learning; Ability to work respectfully within a multicultural and diverse school community.
