The Backend Insurance team at Grab Financial Services focuses on enabling financial inclusion by building solutions that provide drivers and merchants access to lending and insurance products. The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for developing complex backend systems that power end-to-end user journeys across various insurance products in the Grab ecosystem. This role requires a candidate who embodies ownership and autonomy, capable of writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. The engineer will participate in architectural decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with diverse teams to ship new features. Participation in on-call rotations is required to ensure service reliability.
