Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Business Platform

The Business Platform team at Grab is responsible for powering the backend capabilities that enable businesses and enterprises to onboard, operate, and scale across Southeast Asia. The team manages critical systems that serve as the source of truth for business data, including business profiles, store metadata, and operational workflows. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and evolve backend platform services that directly influence how businesses set up their operations and how internal teams function. You will lead architectural designs for microservices and high-throughput APIs, ensuring high availability and low latency. This role requires strong system design thinking and a commitment to building robust, scalable platforms while mentoring junior engineers and overseeing cloud infrastructure and security protocols.
