We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QC Inspector (also known as a QC Measurement Engineer) to perform precision dimensional inspections of machined and moulded components. This role is vital for maintaining production quality, supporting new product development, and ensuring that all components meet rigorous engineering standards. As a Senior QC Inspector, you will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), conducting First Article Inspections (FAI), and performing process capability (Cpk) measurements. You will also mentor junior QC team members, providing guidance on measurement techniques and inspection procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of 2D engineering drawings, geometric tolerances (GD&T), and proficiency with both optical and conventional measuring instruments.
Tanggung jawab: Manage and maintain measuring instruments and inspection equipment; Perform dimensional and quality inspections of machined and moulded components, including first-piece, 4-hour in-process, and final inspections; Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for accurate dimensional measurement; Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and process capability (Cpk) measurements for new product development; Verify component dimensions and support dimensional checks following production process adjustments; Interpret engineering drawings and verify compliance with dimensional tolerances and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements; Maintain accurate inspection records and report non-conformities or dimensional deviations to relevant departments; Guide and mentor junior QC personnel on measurement techniques, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
Kualifikasi: Able to interpret complex 2D engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances (GD&T); Proficient in using 2D optical measuring systems and conventional measuring instruments; Experienced in CMM programming and precision dimensional measurement; Familiarity with ZEISS CMM programming and software is an advantage; Experience inspecting CNC-machined and moulded components is preferred; Knowledge of FAI, Cpk, and in-process quality inspection is an advantage; Strong attention to detail, systematic working habits, and the ability to work independently; Previous experience guiding or mentoring QC team members is preferred.
