Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer PT Meinhardt Indonesia is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong mechanical design capability, especially in HVAC systems , mechanical calculations, and multi-discipline project coordination. The candidate is expected to have solid experience in engineering design consultancy and be able to handle various project types, preferably including data centre, commercial building, high-rise, industrial, mixed-use, hotel, hospital, or other large-scale building projects .

Responsibilities Prepare and review mechanical engineering design, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Carry out HVAC calculations, including cooling load, ventilation, duct sizing, pipe sizing, equipment selection, and system design.

Review mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, material submittals, and vendor documents. Coordinate mechanical design with other disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architecture, structural, and BIM teams. Support project teams in resolving mechanical technical issues during design, tender, and construction stages.

Ensure all mechanical design work complies with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and good engineering practice. Attend coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors when required. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in design consultant or engineering consultancy company. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC design and calculation.
