We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal / Compliance Manager to support our Indonesia project. The successful candidate will provide legal and compliance support for EPC and mining-related operations, manage contractual matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize legal risks throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelor's degree or above in Law (International Law, Civil & Commercial Law, or related field). Licensed Indonesian Advocate (Advokat) is preferred. Minimum 5–8 years of legal experience with proven ability to independently handle cross-border and commercial legal matters. At least 3 years of experience in legal risk management for EPC projects , or energy and mining projects throughout the project lifecycle. Coal handling systems Mining operations Port and terminal projects Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services Large state-owned or multinational energy companies International EPC contractors Chinese-invested companies in Indonesia (highly preferred) Strong knowledge of legal and compliance matters related
Tanggung jawab: Lead and manage the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of EPC contracts (including FIDIC and bespoke contracts), O&M service agreements, subcontract agreements, and procurement contracts; Monitor changes in Indonesian laws and regulations, including mining, environmental, labor, taxation, and foreign exchange regulations, and provide legal advice to ensure compliance; Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to mitigate local compliance risks; Handle contract claims, variations, delay claims, and dispute resolution arising during project execution; Lead negotiations and manage litigation, arbitration, and labor disputes, while coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
