The Senior Cloud Architect will spearhead the development and enforcement of cloud architecture standards, ensuring robust technical governance across all cloud and platform engineering initiatives. This senior role serves as the ultimate technical escalation point for critical incidents, guiding teams through complex infrastructure challenges. Key responsibilities encompass defining and maintaining comprehensive cloud architecture standards—including landing zones, network design, identity management, high‑availability/disaster‑recovery (HA/DR), security, and cost optimization. The architect will review and approve major infrastructure changes, set priorities for Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, FinOps, and SRE/AIOps teams, advise clients on modernization and migration strategies, and participate in on‑call rotations. The position requires a minimum of eight years’ experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with demonstrated ownership of multi‑cloud environments. Proficiency in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential, along with strong communication and stakeholder advisory skills. Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
