Sales Manager - Digital Freight Forwarding

Client Details: Digital Logistics & Freight Forwarding Startup We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to expand our presence in Indonesia. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition, key account development, and delivering tailored logistics solutions within the freight forwarding space. Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities across importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders, focusing on B2B sales of freight forwarding services (sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, etc.).

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and closing, while consistently achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Build and maintain strong client relationships , understanding customer logistics needs and providing customized, value-driven solutions to ensure long-term partnerships. Expand market presence by penetrating key industries such as manufacturing, commodities, FMCG, and trading, while staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.

Prepare competitive quotations and proposals , and lead commercial negotiations to secure profitable deals. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer success teams to ensure seamless service delivery, high customer satisfaction, and repeat business. Monitor and report sales performance , maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and CRM updates, and providing regular forecasts and insights.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or related field 3-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / logistics sales

Fluent in English Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets Strong network with importers/exporters and logistics stakeholders in Indonesia
