SALES ENGINEER

About the role We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join PT. OSTYNN BATAM PERKASA on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a critical bridge between our technical capabilities and our clients' needs, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet specific requirements whilst maintaining profitability. Based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, this position plays a strategic role in expanding our market presence and establishing long-term client relationships in the region.

Key responsibilities Identify and qualify sales opportunities through technical consultation and needs analysis Develop and present customised technical solutions to prospective and existing clients

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, quotations and presentations that demonstrate product value Conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions for clients Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation

Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up Gather market feedback and communicate customer needs to the product development and engineering teams Participate in industry events, trade shows and networking activities to promote company products and services

Document technical specifications, project details and client interactions for future reference and reporting Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and optimise customer solutions What we're looking for
