About the role PT. Lasallefood Indonesia is seeking a Research & Development Manager to lead and oversee our innovation initiatives and product development strategies. As Research & Development Manager, you will hold a strategic position within our organization, reporting directly to senior management and serving as a key driver of business growth through innovation and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the Research and Development team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to achieve departmental objectives and deliver high-quality innovations. Develop and oversee comprehensive R&D strategies aligned with company business goals and market demands. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and gaps in the food industry. Oversee the formulation, testing and quality assurance of new food products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, sales and quality assurance to translate research findings into viable commercial products. Establish and maintain relationships with external research institutions, suppliers and industry partners to enhance our innovation capabilities. Monitor and evaluate the performance of R&D projects, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant food safety regulations, intellectual property requirements and company policies. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline; advanced qualification such as a Master's degree is preferred. Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in research and development within the food and beverage industry.
