Key Responsibilities s Requirements · Lead and manage multiple New Product Development (NPD), product improvement, and innovation projects concurrently while ensuring timely execution, technical accuracy, and alignment with business objectives · Provide strong technical leadership and product knowledge support in areas including product formulation, ingredient functionality, process optimization, troubleshooting, and manufacturing scalability
· Drive innovation exploration and development of new product platforms, concepts, and technologies to support export market expansion and future business growth · Support manufacturing plants on technical troubleshooting, process improvements, harmonization initiatives, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency projects · Ensure all product developments comply with regulatory, labelling, nutritional, and customer-specific requirements across different export markets
· Work closely with Commercial, QA, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project coordination, commercialization, and cross-functional alignment · Manage project timelines, priorities, documentation, and technical follow-ups effectively to ensure projects remain on track without loss of critical details · Conduct product benchmarking, sensory evaluation, shelf-life assessment, and continuous product improvement initiatives to maintain product competitiveness and quality standards
· Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior RCD team members to strengthen team competency, accountability, and execution capability · Support the development of a more structured, agile, and scalable RCD operation capable of supporting rapid business growth and increasing project complexity Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or related disciplines. Minimum 8 years of working experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry, preferably with exposure to snack foods, seasonings, instant foods, or export-oriented product development. Strong technical knowledge in food product development, ingredient functionality, food processing technologies, and manufacturing scale-up.
