The New Product Development (NPD) Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the entire NPD process, from initial customer briefs or product concepts through to commercial launch. This role involves overseeing project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and launch plans to ensure projects meet established targets. The supervisor manages multiple NPD projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on scope, timeline, cost, quality, and launch objectives. This position acts as a central coordinator between various departments including Sales, Marketing, R&D, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, Packaging, Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain. The supervisor translates customer and market needs into actionable plans for technical and operational teams, manages OEM/ODM development projects, and ensures all product specifications, packaging, and regulatory requirements are met prior to commercial production.
