About the role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operator Tank Farm to join PT. VVF Indonesia in Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. This is a contract position that plays a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our tank farm facilities. As an Operator Tank Farm, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and controlling the storage and transfer of liquids and gases within our tank systems. Your work is essential to ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and the smooth flow of our manufacturing and logistics processes. Key responsibilities Monitor tank levels, pressure gauges, temperature readings, and other instrumentation to ensure optimal operational parameters Operate pumps, valves, and transfer equipment to safely move liquids and gases between tanks and to distribution points Conduct regular inspections of tanks, pipelines, and associated equipment to identify potential leaks, corrosion, or other maintenance issues Maintain detailed records of tank inventory, transfers, and operational activities in compliance with company and regulatory standards Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment as required Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures to minimise risk and protect personnel and assets Respond promptly to alarms and abnormal conditions, taking appropriate corrective action or escalating issues to supervisors Assist with loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper documentation and quality checks Collaborate with team members and other departments to support efficient facility operations What we're looking for Minimum Associate's degree (D3) major in chemical engineering and similar degree which related fields.
