Music Curator

We are looking for a Music Curator to support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of music content for Game. This role is responsible for curating playlists, managing music metadata, ensuring content quality, and helping create engaging music experiences for players across different genres, themes, events, and player segments. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for music, good knowledge of various genres and eras, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand what makes music content fun, recognizable, and engaging for players.

Responsibilities Curate music playlists based on genre, decade, artist, mood, theme, seasonal events, and player interests. Research songs, artists, albums, music trends, and cultural moments to support playlist creation.

Maintain and update existing playlists to ensure content remains relevant, accurate, and engaging. Review music metadata, including song titles, artist names, release years, genres, and related information. Ensure playlist quality by checking song relevance, difficulty balance, duplication, and overall player experience.

Support Live Ops and seasonal events by preparing themed music content for campaigns, events, and special promotions. Collaborate with Product, Live Ops, Community, and QA teams to align music content with game needs and player feedback. Analyze player behavior, playlist performance, and feedback to identify opportunities for content improvement.

Identify music trends, viral songs, nostalgic hits, and culturally relevant themes that can be used to improve engagement. Help define music content standards, tagging rules, and curation guidelines. Perform quality checks to reduce content errors, outdated information, or mismatched songs in playlists.
