Merchandising Manager

What Will You Do: Develop and execute product assortment and category strategies aligned with the store concept and target market.

Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure a profitable and trend-right product mix. Establish competitive pricing and margin structures by conducting regular market benchmarking and competitor analysis. Design and implement planograms optimized to maximize sales potential, improve product visibility, and minimize shrinkage.

Oversee the management of Master Product Data to ensure all system information is accurate, complete, and properly maintained. Drive effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock turn, while proactively preventing overstock, aging stock, and shrinkage risks. Manage and optimize the supply chain workflow, including local procurement, cross-border imports, and direct upcountry purchasing (with a strong focus on China sourcing).

What Are The Requirement: Education minimum Bachelor degree in any major. Related experience min 3-5 years.

As a buyer in department store/fashion/GMS/Household/grocery Understand about Fashion or household selling strategy (pricing, margin, promotion, display, product information) Handling Import product purchases or directly going to China especially is preferable
