MATERIAL CONTROL

Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the project site. Ensure all materials comply with project specifications and purchase orders.

Maintain accurate records of material receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory levels. Monitor stock availability and coordinate material requests with the procurement and construction teams. Track material consumption and prepare material status reports.

Coordinate material preservation and proper storage to prevent damage or deterioration. Support material reconciliation and project close-out activities. Ensure all material documentation, including Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and delivery records, is complete and properly filed.

Job Requirements: Minimum Diploma (D3) / Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Have 1–3 years of experience as a Material Controller, Material Coordinator, or Warehouse Controller, preferably in piping, oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or industrial construction projects.

Strong understanding of material receiving, storage, inventory control, material issuing, and reconciliation. Familiar with piping materials, including pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, gaskets, bolts, and supports. Able to read and interpret Material Take-Off (MTO), Bill of Materials (BOM), isometric drawings, and material specifications.
