Junior MEP Commissioning Engineer

About the role PT China Construction Yangtze River Indonesia is seeking a Junior MEP Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a contract position based in Cikarang Pusat, West Java . In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and validation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on construction projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure all building systems operate efficiently and safely upon handover. This position offers excellent exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise in MEP systems commissioning.

Key responsibilities Conduct commissioning and performance testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency backup systems, and fire safety installations Test and verify mechanical systems such as HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration units to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards

Inspect and commission plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations Prepare detailed commissioning plans and test protocols for MEP systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards Document all test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions in commissioning reports and logbooks

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and manufacturers to resolve system deficiencies and ensure compliance with specifications Perform system balancing, calibration, and optimisation to achieve design parameters Support the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and training documentation for facility handover

Assist in troubleshooting system failures and implementing remedial measures Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site What we're looking for
