The Instrument Engineer for the OKI 3 Paper Machine Project is responsible for supporting the entire lifecycle of instrumentation and control systems, from engineering design and installation to testing, commissioning, and start-up. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, EPC contractors, and vendors to ensure that all instrumentation activities meet project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
Tanggung jawab: Review and evaluate instrumentation and control system designs, specifications, and engineering documents; Coordinate the installation of field instruments, analyzers, control valves, transmitters, sensors, and associated control systems; Review P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and instrument datasheets; Ensure instrumentation installation activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements; Supervise contractors and vendors during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities; Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), loop checking, functional testing, and system integration activities; Coordinate commissioning and start-up activities for DCS, PLC, QCS, drives, and field instrumentation systems; Troubleshoot instrumentation and control issues during installation and commissioning phases; Monitor project progress and provide technical solutions to maintain schedule and quality objectives; Work closely with process, mechanical, electrical, automation, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution; Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements; Prepare commissioning reports, punch lists, technical documentation, and project close-out reports.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field; Minimum 3 years of experience in instrumentation, automation, or control system projects within pulp & paper, power, petrochemical, chemical, or manufacturing industries; Experience in project execution, construction support, commissioning, and start-up activities; Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication systems; Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, control philosophies, instrument datasheets, and technical specifications; Familiarity with international standards and industrial best practices for instrumentation and control systems; Experience coordinating with EPC contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams; Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Good command of English, both written and spoken; Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.
