PT Hansin Technology Indonesia is a manufacturing company based in Batam, Indonesia, specializing in industrial spray painting. The company is dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards in their production processes, particularly for components requiring precise cosmetic finishes. The Industrial Spray Painter is responsible for executing high-quality spray-painting operations. This role involves ensuring consistent paint thickness, achieving accurate surface finishes, maintaining color accuracy, and meeting gloss level requirements according to customer specifications. The position requires a professional who can troubleshoot painting defects, manage process variations, and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment while collaborating with production and quality teams.
Tanggung jawab: Operate and maintain spray-painting equipment, including spray guns, air pressure regulators, and paint-mixing equipment; Prepare paint and coating materials according to specified formulations, mixing ratios, and process requirements; Perform surface preparation to ensure proper paint adhesion; Control paint thickness, coating uniformity, color consistency, gloss level, and overall surface appearance; Inspect painted products against approved color cards, master samples, and customer specifications; Perform or assist with color difference and gloss measurements using appropriate standards; Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot painting defects, color deviations, and gloss inconsistencies; Adjust painting parameters and recommend corrective actions; Follow established work instructions, quality requirements, safety procedures, and chemical-handling practices; Maintain painting equipment, tools, and the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition; Work closely with production and quality personnel to achieve production targets; Support the training and supervision of other painting operators when required.
Kualifikasi: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial spray painting; Proficient in operating spray guns and related painting equipment, including air pressure adjustment and paint-mixing operations; Strong understanding of paint application techniques and factors affecting coating quality (thickness, uniformity, adhesion); Familiarity with manual and automated spray-painting line operations; Knowledge of surface preparation methods (degreasing, sanding, cleaning, rust removal); Good color recognition and visual inspection skills; Experience with color measurement and gloss measurement instruments is preferred; Familiarity with CIELAB (L*a*b*) color measurement or Delta E (ΔE) is an advantage; Experience with medical equipment housings, enclosures, or high cosmetic standard products is an advantage; Experience with plastic substrates and metal components; Knowledge of paint systems, coating specifications, and technical data sheets (TDS); Previous experience as a senior painter, painting team leader, or supervisor is highly regarded.
