Posisi Import Section Head memegang peran penting dalam memimpin dan mengelola seluruh operasional impor perusahaan, termasuk koordinasi dengan vendor internasional, manajemen kepabeanan (customs clearance), serta pengelolaan pengiriman kargo (freight management). Tanggung jawab utama mencakup koordinasi proses impor untuk pengadaan mesin, suku cadang, dan bahan baku bersama departemen Procurement dan vendor luar negeri. Anda juga bertanggung jawab dalam pemilihan freight forwarder yang tepat, monitoring proses customs clearance hingga barang diterima dengan baik, analisis landed cost, pemahaman regulasi kepabeanan Indonesia, serta penanganan kendala pengiriman demi kelancaran rantai pasok perusahaan.
Tanggung jawab: Coordinate the import process with Procurement and overseas vendors, including machinery, spare parts, and raw materials; Prepare estimated arrival schedules and reports for incoming goods; Coordinate with vendors regarding shipment schedules and delivery arrangements; Identify and establish partnerships with suitable freight forwarders based on company requirements; Monitor the customs clearance process until the goods are successfully received by the company; Calculate and analyze landed costs and optimize freight expenses; Select appropriate sea transportation options by considering cost, lead time, and shipment requirements; Ensure that received goods comply with the required quantity, specifications, and documentation; Handle and coordinate import delays, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
Kualifikasi: Good understanding of Indonesian customs and import regulations; Proficient in English, both written and spoken; Strong teamwork and communication skills; Able to coordinate effectively with internal users and related departments; Able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines; Experienced in coordinating with vendors regarding shipment and delivery issues; Familiar with HS Codes and their application in import activities; Experience in a company with high import activity is preferred; Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Import Supervisor or Head/Section Head of Import.
