Jakarta Multicultural School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to inspire students to explore the past, develop critical thinking skills, and understand historical events from multiple perspectives. Tanggung jawab: Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum and the school's academic standards; Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical, research, and communication skills through the study of historical events and sources; Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and intellectual curiosity; Assess, monitor, and report student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods; Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students; Integrate technology and interactive teaching strategies to enhance student learning; Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support students' academic and personal development; Participate actively in curriculum planning, school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor's degree in History, History Education, Social Studies Education, or a related field; Teaching qualification or certification is preferred; Previous experience teaching History at the secondary level is highly desirable; Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum (Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS & A Level) is an advantage; Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills; Passion for history education and inquiry-based learning; Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and collaborative school community; Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
