Yayasan Hutan Tropis yang berdiri secara legal di Indonesia pada tahun 2005 sebagai organisasi nirlaba nasional serta berafiliasi dengan Earthworm Foundation mencari Grievance Response Specialist. Organisasi ini bekerja sama dengan berbagai mitra dan komunitas untuk memastikan rantai pasok menjadi pendorong kemakmuran bagi masyarakat dan ekosistem, dengan kantor pusat di Semarang dan Jakarta serta wilayah operasional meliputi Aceh, Sumatra Utara, Riau, dan Kalimantan Timur. Dalam posisi ini, Anda akan bertanggung jawab untuk mengoordinasikan kasus pengaduan di wilayah Indo Pasifik dari pelaporan awal hingga penutupan, memimpin investigasi kasus, menulis laporan dan rekomendasi, memantau sumber online serta media terkait pengaduan baru, serta berinteraksi langsung dengan produsen lokal, pemerintah, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya.
Tanggung jawab: Coordinate grievance cases in the Indo Pacific region from first report to closure, and lead the investigations on the cases assigned to you; Write the reports, assessments and recommendations for each case, and keep its records current in our case database; Monitor online sources, local NGOs and the media for new grievances, and act as the first contact for cases that members or other stakeholders raise; Assess each new grievance quickly, set its priority and decide whether and when we inform our members; Bring in colleagues’ landscape, GIS and supply chain expertise for each investigation, and gather the views of local NGOs, the media and other stakeholders; Follow up cases in the field, and engage directly with Indonesian producers, government and sector platforms.
Kualifikasi: Strong interest in sustainable supply chains, corporate sustainability, and agricultural commodities; At least three years of relevant professional experience, ideally in palm oil or similar sectors; Comfortable managing cases from assessment and investigation through follow-up and resolution; Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders including companies, NGOs, government, communities, and other partners; Strong research, analytical, communication, and report-writing skills; Ability to bring together information from different sources and turn it into clear insights and recommendations; Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams; Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Willing to travel for field engagement and investigations, including to remote locations; Undergraduate or master’s degree in a relevant discipline; Indonesian nationality or valid authorization to work in Indonesia.
