General Accountant (Tax) (Gresik)

Our client, a well-established and fast-growing manufacturer of high-quality glass products, is currently seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join their finance team in Manyar, Gresik (East Java) . This full-time role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely, reliable financial reporting. Manage General Ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Perform month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Handle the Record-to-Report (R2R) process and maintain the integrity of financial data. Prepare and post journal entries and accounting adjustments as required. Coordinate with AP, AR, and Treasury teams to support reconciliations and reporting.

Prepare and manage tax reporting and compliance, including VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income Tax. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation. Minimum 3 years of experience in General Accounting, General Ledger, and Tax functions. Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and Indonesian tax regulations.

Experience in tax reporting and statutory compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is an advantage. Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus .
