Furniture Drafter / CNC CAD Designer (SolidWorks + SWOOD) Company: Tropical Home Solutions Location: Tonja, Denpasar, Bali Join a Growing Furniture Manufacturing Company in Bali Tropical Home Solutions is expanding its production team and is looking for an experienced Furniture Drafter / CNC CAD Designer with a strong background in furniture manufacturing and CNC production. This is not an entry-level drafting position. We are looking for a specialist who already understands furniture production and can independently prepare accurate production drawings, CNC machining files, nesting layouts, and G-code for manufacturing. For successful candidates relocating from another city, the company provides a one-way flight ticket to Bali and temporary accommodation to support a smooth transition. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed production and shop drawings for custom furniture. Create CNC-ready files for cutting (nesting), drilling, routing, and milling. Generate, edit, and optimize G-code for CNC machines. Develop efficient nesting layouts to maximize material utilization. Collaborate closely with production managers and CNC operators to ensure accurate manufacturing. Verify dimensions, tolerances, and production feasibility before release. Revise production drawings based on factory feedback when required. ⸻ Required Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing as a Furniture Drafter, CNC CAD Designer, or Production Designer. Proven experience preparing production drawings specifically for furniture manufacturing. Strong understanding of furniture construction, joinery systems, and production processes. Solid knowledge of the complete CNC workflow, including nesting, cutting, drilling, routing, milling, and G-code generation. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience with the SWOOD plugin is mandatory. Ability to independently prepare production-ready CNC files with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
