Freight and Logistics Accounting · Job Costing & Profitability : Allocate specific shipping costs (air, sea, land, and handling fees) to individual job files to evaluate the profitability of each shipment. · Billing & Invoicing : Prepare and issue accurate freight invoices, debit notes, and credit notes to clients.

· Vendor Verification : Validate invoices from shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents before processing payments. · Job Reconciliation : Reconcile shipping files and ensure all costs and revenues are accurately recorded before closing out a job. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

Collections: Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments. Agent Settlements: Process international payments and handle inter-company transactions with overseas agents and partner networks. Carrier Payments: Manage vendor accounts payable, ensuring freight carriers and logistics providers are paid according to agreed-upon terms.

Financial Reporting & Compliance Month-End Closing: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and assist with month-end and year-end closing. Multi-Currency Management: Handle foreign exchange transactions and currency conversions for international freight lanes.

Tax & Audit Compliance: Prepare and file local taxes (such as VAT/PPN and withholding taxes) and provide the necessary financial documentation during internal and external audits. Financial Statements: Generate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets for management review.
