PT Golden Ocean Line is a fast-growing shipping, warehouse, and container yard provider in Indonesia that owns and operates bulk carriers. The company is committed to maintaining high standards in maritime operations and logistics. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for monitoring the electrical performance, maintenance, and operating budgets of assigned vessels. You will ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, classification societies, and flag state requirements. The role involves planning and supervising dry-docking, repairs, and overhauls, as well as coordinating with various departments like Operations, Crewing, and Procurement to ensure efficient vessel operations. You will also conduct technical surveys, review electrical reports, and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain vessel safety and electrical standards.
Tanggung jawab: Monitor assigned vessels’ electrical performance, maintenance activities, PMS, and operating budgets; Ensure compliance with classification society, flag state, and applicable international maritime regulations; Prepare and monitor annual electrical budgets and control maintenance and repair costs; Plan, coordinate, and supervise dry-docking, vessel repairs, overhauls, and shore-based technical services; Review and approve purchase orders (POs) and technical requisitions within the authorized limits; Monitor vessel safety, electrical condition, and maintenance standards, and implement corrective actions where necessary; Coordinate with the Operations, Crewing, Commercial and Procurement departments to ensure efficient vessel operations; Conduct periodic vessel inspections and technical surveys to assess vessel condition and identify maintenance and safety corrective actions; Review vessel electrical reports, follow up on defects and outstanding repairs, and report any electrical issues to management.
Kualifikasi: Graduated from Electrical, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture of equivalent qualification fields; 3 years of sailing experience of any electrician rank, or shore experience as a Electrical Superintendent with a ship management / owning company will be beneficial; Experienced as Class Surveyors will be beneficial; Strong knowledge of vessel’s electrical requirements and voyage regulations; Excellent project management skills; Good people management skills; Good negotiation skills; Good organisation skills; Good time management; Being able to work multitasking simultaneously; Being able to work under time pressure; Fluency in English will be beneficial; PC literacy.
