Electrical Engineer

About the role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ONBali in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to apply your electrical engineering expertise in a dynamic hospitality environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, designing, and optimising the electrical systems and infrastructure that support our restaurant operations. Based on-site in Ubud, this role is integral to ensuring our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably whilst meeting all regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout the restaurant facilities, ensuring compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standards Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and issues, implementing timely repairs to minimise downtime and operational disruptions

Manage electrical projects from conception through completion, including cost estimation, resource planning, and project documentation Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and external specialists to source components and services whilst maintaining budgetary constraints Ability to install electrical wiring, outlets, and switches, with a basic understanding of electrical panel systems. Proficient in using power tools. Must own a motorcycle for work-related travel. The company will provide all necessary work tools and equipment.
