Posisi Chief Engineer bertanggung jawab memimpin dan mengawasi tim teknik untuk memastikan seluruh aktivitas konstruksi memenuhi spesifikasi proyek dan standar kualitas yang ditetapkan. Peran ini mencakup perencanaan teknis dan implementasi selama proses konstruksi berlangsung. Tugas utamanya meliputi peninjauan gambar teknis, spesifikasi, dan dokumentasi teknik, serta koordinasi dengan manajer proyek, site engineer, dan kontraktor. Selain itu, Chief Engineer berperan dalam memantau progres konstruksi, mengidentifikasi serta menyelesaikan masalah teknis di lapangan, dan memberikan panduan teknis kepada tim konstruksi.
Tanggung jawab: Lead and supervise the engineering team to ensure construction activities meet project specifications and quality standards; Oversee engineering activities, technical planning, and implementation throughout the construction process; Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation; Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution; Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with technical requirements; Identify and resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions; Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to the construction.
