SMA Global Darussalam Academy (GDA) adalah sekolah menengah asrama berbasis nilai terkemuka yang berlokasi di kaki Gunung Merapi, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta. Sebagai seorang Guru Kimia di program IB Diploma, Anda bertugas menyampaikan pengajaran kimia yang menarik dan sesuai dengan silabus IB DP baik tingkat HL maupun SL. Peran ini mencakup pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, peninjauan kurikulum, persiapan ujian, serta membimbing siswa menyelesaikan komponen Internal Assessment (IA) dan Extended Essay (EE) guna membangun lingkungan belajar yang kritis, inkuisitif, dan interaktif.
Tanggung jawab: Support the well-being and holistic development of students in line with the IB Learner Profile; Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the IB DP syllabus (HL & SL); Conduct lessons, co-curricular activities, curriculum reviews, and exam preparation (setting, marking, moderation) in accordance with IB assessment criteria; Guide and mentor students in the completion of Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essay (EE) components; Foster a positive, inquiry-based, and interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking; Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including colleagues, parents, and the IB Coordinator; Actively participate in school events, CAS activities, and continuous professional development workshops; Ensure consistent assessment through standardisation and moderation in line with IB DP criteria.
Kualifikasi: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field; A teaching qualification from an accredited teacher-training institution will be an advantage; Strong command of written and spoken English (academic proficiency); Experienced in teaching Chemistry at the IB DP, A-Level, or equivalent international curriculum; Familiarity with IB DP assessment standards, Internal Assessment (IA) moderation, and academic honesty policies is highly desirable; Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
