This role provides technical leadership for the development and implementation of forest carbon projects. The specialist is responsible for developing and strengthening Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems, carbon accounting frameworks, monitoring systems, and databases. The position involves assessing and implementing carbon methodologies and standards, preparing technical documentation for project development, and supporting project readiness for validation and verification. The specialist also conducts technical assessments to ensure project quality, compliance, and successful implementation according to relevant carbon standards.
