About the role PT Kaivalya is seeking an experienced Cafe and Restaurant Cook to join our culinary team in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site at our establishment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our restaurant's commitment to excellence. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques will be essential to maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for quality cuisine in Ubud. Key responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, plating standards, and quality specifications Ensure all food is prepared with attention to detail, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence Manage mise en place and maintain an organised, clean and efficient cooking station Monitor food quality, taste and temperature to ensure dishes meet our high standards before service Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times Follow all health and safety regulations, food handling procedures and hygiene standards Assist in food inventory management and report on stock levels to management Respond to special dietary requests and modifications with professionalism and creativity Support menu development and participate in tasting sessions as needed Maintain and care for kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly What we're looking
