We are seeking a high-caliber Automation Engineer to serve as the technical architect for our production systems. You will bridge the gap between abstract control logic and physical manufacturing performance. Your focus is to design, implement, and optimize robust software solutions that ensure our machinery operates at peak efficiency, safety, and precision. Core Responsibilities: * Logic Development: Program and commission PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for complex manufacturing equipment. * System Integration: Manage seamless communication protocols between robots, vision systems, and enterprise manufacturing databases (MES/ERP). * Process Optimization: Analyze cycle times and system downtime to identify software-driven improvements; implement predictive maintenance logic. * Troubleshooting: Serve as the technical escalation point for root-cause analysis of software-related hardware failures. * Documentation: Maintain precise documentation for code architecture, I/O mapping, and system interlocks to ensure long-term maintainability. * Safety Standards: Implement and validate safety-rated control systems (e.g., light curtains, E-stops) in compliance with international safety standards. * Deployment: Oversee site commissioning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training of production floor operators. Technical Requirements * Control Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in major brands (e.g., Omron, Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, Beckhoff TwinCAT). * Programming Languages: Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text (IEC 61131-3), and script-based languages (Python/C# for data integration). * Networking: Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC-UA, Modbus). * Motion Control: Proven experience in servo drive configuration and multi-axis coordination. * Methodology: Strong grasp of version control (Git) and modular, reusable code architecture.
